We frequently combine multiple technques to get the result we want here at The Glass Studio, LLC. Each of the pieces in this section shares in common the application of heat in a kiln in one form or another. When the heat is lower and takes the relief of a mold, we call it slumping. When the heat is higher and we are actually creating one final piece from multiple layers of glass, we call it fusing. We also use flameworking, melting glass rods in a torch to create elements to include into fused glass projects.
